You can see how the holes were created using a 'bow drill' - a method for grinding and boring holes during the neolithic times.

They still have clay from the Sahara Desert embedded in the cracks of these quartz beads.

I've finished the white four plaited necklace with an abalone toggle, so please message or include a note with your desired fixed-length or if you prefer sliding knots that allow you to adjust the length. Waxed polyester cord that I hand-plait and use on all my necklaces.
